Yellow – The Dress

One of my favorite online shops for plus size women is Monif C. So when I thought about looking for a yellow dress I immediately thought of them. If you haven’t heard of Monif C. It is a family business started by Monif Clarke and her mother Elaine. Monif C’s plus size designs are gaining steam exponentially. After only a few years online they decided to open their first boutique in New York. Kind of a reverse business process really, when you think about it, as most people tend to open a walk-in shop then venture online.

Monif C dresses are not for the meek of heart. They are bold, colourful and designed to show off a woman’s curves. For this instalment I decided on the “Sunner” Golden Maxi Dress in Yellow. It is so hard to find a long dress and this one looks perfect. The “Sunner” is a U.S. made design and comes in sizes 14 – 24; along with ’boutique’ pricing ($238). This little softy has summer written all over it. Whether it’s a wedding or a nice romantic dinner for two. It’s a stunner.
