August 29, 2007

The king of fashion forecasting, David Wolfe, has presented his prediction of “big trends” for 2008. He sees “a repetition of themes, a focus on vintage, and a heavy influence from the past.”

Forecasters are also expecting a splurge of “bright colors like neon yellows and cobalt blue” and “organic cottons and materials made of re-purposed polyester and bamboo to create their collections”.

You can read more about it in Forbes article 10 Fashion Trends You Can’t Ignore by Hitha Prabhakar. Make sure you check out the in pictures section to get a visual of the article’s predictions.

After you are finished there surf over to Paisley Babylon Vintage for some hip and retro dresses.
