What’s Valentine’s with out a little red lingerie? I totally believe a woman needs to treat HERSELF to some sexy lingerie. Lingerie has attitude all its own and it’s contagious.

Corsets are really making a strong come back and Hips & Curves has some gorgeous ones. I fell in love with this one which also comes in an amazing purple. It is a bargain at $38.50 considering the price of many corsets on the market. The garters are removable and it comes in sizes 38 - 44. Couldn’t you just see this over a white blouse? Also an excellent club wear piece.

This dress is wicked-awesome! Yes, that’s exactly what I thought when I saw it. This red Empire Waist Gown with Jewels (3276W54), from plus size dress maker Igigi, looks like something Venus herself would have worn.
Obviously the neckline makes this dress but the detail put into the beading work and crossover at the breast make this flowing gown all the more delicious. It’s not cheap at $280 but it is made in the US. It comes in sizes 12 - 32.
This dress is a definite treat!

Valentine’s Day will be hear in a few weeks so it’s a good time to start thinking about how you’re going to spoil yourself and/or your partner. This week will be all about my favorite Valentine’s buys.

Torrid Clearance Week - Dresses & Accessories
Today’s the final day of our Torrid Clearance week. It’s been fun.
Today I’m closing with Dresses and accessories.
In the dress department of Torrid’s clearance section they have about 56 options to choose from; sleeveless to short sleeve, casual to dressy. I’ve picked the Black Dot Print Secretary Dress (548776) as my favorite from the bunch. It’s available in sizes 12 - 20 for $50.98 (regular $68)
Accessories abound Torrid’s clearance area. There are over 80 accessories like purses, belts, hats, scarfs and sunglasses.
I found two items I really like in this department. This Grey Plaid Mod Cap (589737) if fab at $12.98 (regular $18). Luv it!
And an excellent jean belt (please don’t wear it on the ribs like that- hidious!).
The 10 emerald-cut crystal gem is a dazzling addition to the waist. It’s on for $17.98 (regular $24).

Torrid Clearance Week - Bottoms
There are just over 100 bottom options in Torrid’s clearance section. Picking a favorite was a lot easier than the tops yesterday because there were so many similar items, like jeans. But my favorite turned out to be this Brown And Purple Plaid Pleated Skirt (530187).
It’s hard to tell from the picture but the skirt is lined brown and purple. I love the texture of this skirt as well as the off center pleats and buttons. It’s all about the little details. It’s also a good length just above the knee. It’s on clearance for $27.98 (regular $38).

Torrid Clearance Week - Tops
Torrid has about 230 tops on clearance. Practically a treasure trove of great deals. I couldn’t stick to one but was able to whittle it down to my three favorites.
First up is the Black and Red Knit Sleeveless Top (538774). I love this variation on stripes that is appealing to the eye because of the zig-zag, the black band at the waist and neckline and the change of direction of the pattern at the breast. Perfect with jeans or under a black blazer. Sizes left range from 0 - 2. It’s on sale for $32.98 (regular $44).
Second up is the Tripp White and Black Corset Waist Top (535122). Which would look great with some black wide leg stretch pants and black pumps or skinny jeans and knee high butt kickers. Sizes left are 0 and 2. It’s on sale for $39.98 (regular $54).
And lastly, is the Tripp Black Pinstripe Corset Top (504123). It might look good with those red jeans that seem to be coming back (screaming no) since it has a red pinstripe in it. This top makes me long for those kick ass boots I kept drooling over at Halloween from Torrid. Sizes left range from 0 - 2. It’s on sale for $42.98 (regular $58).
If you’re going to browse their clearance area be warned, there’s some nasty things in the pile. Search with an open mind and you will find that gem you’re looking for.

Torrid Clearance Week - Shoes
I’m continuing the Torrid Clearance week in Shoes. I totally would never wear these Red Heart and Key flats (552995) but they are so cute and I was thinking of Valentine’s Day yesterday so they seemed appropriate. 
They are $14.98 (regular $20) and come in sizes 7 to 11. They also come with the option of apples or bears but wouldn’t these be cute to wear to work on Valentine’s Day? They’d be a conversation piece for sure. Now I’m thinking I would wear them under the right circumstances. We dress up in costumes for Halloween so why not Valentine’s.

Torrid Clearance Week - Outerwear
Day one of our Torrid Clearance celebration. I decided to check out the outerwear section first. Torrid has 8 coats in their clearance section ranging from casual to trendy. 
This White Puffy coat (573242) is my favorite. It is regularly priced at $98 but is on clearance for $36! There are only two sizes left: 0 (is that a size?) and 1 x.
This coat features a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem; faux fur trim on zip hood; and satin lining. The biggest downer for this item is that it is dryclean. Why would you make a white coat dry-clean only? Still, it’s the trendiest looking coat out of their clearance section. It’s also the most flattering.
