The Comfort of Denim

Before the holidays Lane Bryant had a huge buy one get one half price sale on so I took it as an opportunity to try their new Right Fit Jeans. I bought a pair of Dark Rinse Stretch Bootcut and a pair of Medium Vintage Sandblast Stretch Bootcut. While I found the process of going through the sizing a bit overwhelming at first it really does make a difference and I’m happy with the results. I’m a curvy Right Fit Blue.

Now the ongoing consensus is to go a size smaller than what you get because the jeans stretch. I only recommend this if you like your jeans tight. I personally like to be able to move comfortably and get up from a sitting position without being restricted. I will say however that you should be pulling the tape measure taunt and not holding it loosely when measuring.

I was surprised that the two pairs would fit differently and I do love one pair more than the other. The Vintage ones fit better and didn’t stretch as much. And I like the color more.

I highly recommend checking out Lane Bryant’s Right Fit Jeans especially if you’ve had problems with jeans in the past. I haven’t worn jeans in years because the comfort level didn’t mesh with my size but I can’t get enough of these ones. One of my favorite things about them is the fact that the front waist doesn’t come up to my ribcage and the back waist doesn’t go down to my butt crack; a huge problem I’ve suffered with in the past. I plan on wearing the cotton out and getting me some more. Yay baby!

When not on sale they are $39.50 which is a reasonable jean price. But LB always has some kind of promotion on. Here’s a coupon code for 20% off 000209250 that expires on the 10th.
