Kiyonna has announced their new signature plus size jeans so I had to go check them out.
From the six styles listed I think I like the Sanded ones the best (I’ve never been one for deep dark denim). The color is listed as “put through the ringer” which is cute. They claim to have washed them like seven times to get their color and softness. These jeans are a cotton/spandex blend which seems to be the standard these days for a curvier fit. Of course they are machine washable.
These softies come at a designer price of $138. The unfortunate but weird thing is that only sizes 14/16 and 30/32 are listed for this style at the moment.

Kissycake has these totally adorable handbags with animals printed on the front. This octopus one is my favorite. It is a baby blue cotton/polyester blend lined with pink and white cotton gingham. These bags are custom made to your height.
You also have the choice of a giraffe, puppy, bird, monkey mouse, poodle and a bunny for front detail. They are $35.

Eco-friendly Wild Silk
Babs Studio Boutique offers clothing in sizes 2 - 26. I absolutely fell in love with this opera length pewter jacket. 
As the description says it can be “worn casually with jeans” or with a long black dress.
The jacket is made from Wild Silk so it isn’t surprising that it is $399. The boutique only has a few items but they are unique and worth the few minutes to check them out.

Thick Around the Middle
Wide belts are all the rave this past year and going into 2008. 
But to find a really nice belt in plus size is a challenge so when I came across this one at plus size dress designer Igigi I knew I had to mention it.
This would be a wonderful accessory to dress up a black dress or cinch in a baggy blouse. Igigi currently has sizes 12 - 32 (24/26 is sold out) for $45.

Yellow Canary
I haven’t mentioned any jewelry in a while so 
I went looking at Emitations “top sellers” list to see what I could find. I like the this lovely Montbeliard Canary Ring fashioned after a ring Miriah Carey wore.
It’s a special order ring that takes a few weeks and they are currently offering sizes 4 - 9 for $95. Is the twittering calling you?

Lane Bryant Triple Threat
I was feeling cheap this morning and decided to check out Lane Bryant’s sin bin since I hadn’t been there lately. They have over 180 items (a whole lotta patterns) but I managed to find a few things I liked.
First up is this yoga pant for $19.99. I love the little curved splits at the ankle and the wide elastic waistband. Only sizes 18 - 24 are left (unless you want navy then there are smaller sizes).
Next up is the Chelsea pant, again only $19.99. I almost fell out of my chair. They have sizes 14 - 22 left. I love this look on professional women. And they’re machine washable.
And lastly is this Long Trench Sweater Coat is available in sizes 14 /16 for $29.99. Think a cool spring, red scarf, jeans. This jacket reminds me of the cool sweaters Jeff wore when he was in the navy.

My shipment from Belle Avenue arrived today. Talk about speedy. Only 7 days! And it only cost me $4.66 for international shipping.
I ordered two fashion tops but I really love this yellow one. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s stretchy because of the spandex and the material is super soft. What you don’t see is the fabric under the breast carries around to the back with two long ties. This top only costs $22.99 and comes in sizes 1x -3x. The downside? Dryclean only (as if!).
If you’re not familiar with Belle Avenue they are a plus size clothing store in L.A. that only carries designs from local designers.

The Full Moon is Red
I was reviewing the new plus size clothing site Black Cat Plus and came across this Uddini Mini “Full Moon” Handbag 
for $45. I can totally see Claudia Zacchara from General Hospital carrying a more expensive version of this bag.
This bag comes in more colors (copper, zebra, black, black and gold, brown, burgundy, coffee, gold, lilac, lime, pewter, silver, tiger, bronze, navy and turquoise) and a larger size, which is $79; but the red mini is definitely the hottest. The bag section measures approximately 11″ wide x 8″ tall (15″ including handle).
