Doesn’t this top scream Daisy Duke? I love it. Summery and casual and only $26.99. What a bargain!
It’s listed as polyester/spandex but the plaid portion looks like cotton to me. Currently it is only available in 1x.

Belle Avenue Faves Day Four
I love these new vintage wash jeans from Belle Avenue. Apparently there are diamond studs on the rear but what makes it for me is the waist. So atypical to a plus size jean.
These jeans come in 2x and 3x which seems like odd sizing to me for jeans. Like most denim these days there’s a little bit of spandex for comfort and fit. They are $42.99.

Belle Avenue Faves Day Three
This green smocked top is an old favorite of mine. It is made of cotton which is always a favorite; especially in summer, but I like how the smocking is low instead of the usual empress style.
It comes in sizes 1x - 3x and is $27.99. At the moment it is only available in hot pink or yellow. I’d wear it with a pair of lightweight white skirt or beige khakis. Maybe even a white tank underneath.

This affordable dressy top from Belle Avenue is made classic by the simplicity that black and white offer. It comes in sizes 1x - 2x and is made of a polyester spandex blend.
The faux tuxedo top is only $29.99. The satin sheen gives it a dressy appearance but I would so dress it down with jeans and knee high boots.

Neapolitan Anyone?
No not the ice cream!
I received Igigi’s newsletter today in which it announced the return of the Neapolitan dress. This dress can make anyone proud of their body. It looks great with or without the shrug and the splash of pink is so hot on the crossover top.

It’s about 10 degrees cooler today but that is not stopping stay cool for summer clothing rampage.

The Short Substitute
I’m not a “short” person. Never have been. It probably has something to do with the pantie shorts I was forced to wear in gym class in highschool (back when gym was a requirement for graduations).
I do however love capri pants, short pants, crop pants, whatever you want to call them. And being tall, I think I can pull them off. Now I’m not talking about long shorts. Yuk! The ones I like are somewhere between a cropped pant and a long short. And they can’t be wide or thin legged.
Like these white Convertible Crop pant from plus size clothing shop Lane Bryant. These pants come in sizes 18 - 26 and are on sale for $19.99 (regular $49.99). They are cotton/spandex and are washable. Thank goodness since they are white. They also come in a very pale aqua.
