Apple Bottoms Fest

Yes, apples are in season but not only for the ones you eat! I was over at Nelly’s Apple Bottoms yesterday checking out their plus size section which has grown considerably since the last time I was there. I found three items that i thought were exceptionally tasty from all the rest.

First up is the Ingrid Trouser (AB-AFJ-8231Z_REB), not your traditional Apple Bottoms by any means but still part of their designer collection with a little apple charm at the waist. My favorite feature is the wide legs. They are 98%, 2% spandex and come in sizes 15/16 – 23/24 for $74.99 (Regular $89).

Next up is this Cowl Neck Hoody (AB-AHZ-8127Z_CMP) that is perfect for the coming cool season. I love the combo sweater like this with mesh sleeves for us girls who love sweaters but can’t necessarily wear them as often as we’d like because we’re just so damn sizzling. They have made an excellent use of lines and texture, both on the forearms, waist and hips (and of course that cowl neck which doubles for a hoodie if need be). The knit portion is a blend of 70% acrylic and 30% wool. The mess 90% nylon and 10% spandex. It comes in sizes 1x – 3x for $90.

This is probably my favorite item of all three, the Wool Belted Jacket (AB-AFK-8362Z_RDD). It’s red, it’s lined, it has lots of pockets, a high collar and a cinched waist. My favorite thing about it is the overall military look. It is a combination of wool, polyester, viscose, nylon, acrylic and cotton. Sizes range from 1x – 3x. This wool cool is $164. Did I mention the red? Get your power color on!
