Purple and Grey Shirt Dress

MightayMightay over at Brickhouse (MultiCultural Fashion) refreshed my thinking of the importance of the power color, purple. It’s always been one of my favorite colors. I call it a power color because in New Age medicine it’s used to represent one of the seven chackras, specifically in the brow area (#6) which is often called the third eye. This chakra focuses on things like intuition, peace, and spirituality. Things we all could use a little more of.

It is with great pleasure that I share with you this Prep Shirt Dress from plus size clothing retailer, Kiyonna. It comes in size 0x – 5x for $164. The power career dress.

My favorite features besides the purple block color (that goes excellently with grey)?

  • The high waist
  • The button front cleavage
  • The ruffled collar
  • And the tailored hem with godets

Sweet! I love these little attentions to detail that bring together a great looking dress.

So tomorrow when you are going through your closet trying to decide on something to wear. Go purple and spend the day unlocking your intuition and inner peace as you reflect it back to others. Too hokey for a Tuesday?
