“A Wedding Guide for the Full-figured Woman”

Chamein Canton’s 188 paged hardcover wedding book Down the Aisle in Style proclaims that “women come in all shapes and sizes” as do brides. By far the most important aspect of this book is the information on dresses, veils, and bouquets.

Chamein gets down to specifics about each area of the dress including necklines, sleeves, waistline and trains. At the end of it all is a glossary of terms on bridal lingo. These two sections create a treasure trove of information that will make shopping for the perfect wedding dress a breeze.

The author also takes future brides through wedding planning aspects like budgeting, theme, music, bridesmaids, the right hairstyle, makeup, ceremonies, menu options, and photography.

I would have liked to have seen more on body shapers and less on massage therapy but overall, I think this book is a great resource for future brides to start their journey on.

Many of the dressing aspects can be carried over to the daily wardrobe making this book is a good fashion resource to have on your bookshelf. And after you use it you can loan it to the friend who’s nuptials are next in line.
