Just My Size is a wonderful Hanes Brand site that I often forget about. They focus mainly on the basic and have an excellent size range (with some extended sizes too). I’m not sure why I often forget about them — I’ll knock it up to one of those things.

I have been using Baggu’s nylon bags for shopping for about a year now and I absolutely love them. They come with a mini bag holder to keep them all folded, neat, and tidy in my handbag. They are are reasonably priced bag $8 (cheaper if you buy more than one), sturdy (can hold up to 25lbs), and come in a beautiful variety of colors without a huge company stamp on them (there’s a little inconspicuous Baggu tab).

Baggu has added a new canvas bag to their collection called the Duck bag and I decided to go neutral with nutmeg for this one as I plan on using it to replace my current falling apart hobo bag that I use when I do errands. As you can see it comes with an extra long strap so it can be carried by hand over the shoulder or my personal favorite across the chest. It snaps closed at the top and has a little coupon or key pouch on the inside. The new Duck bag is made of 100% recycled cotton and is an affordable $18. It is currently available in red, fuchsia, blue, grass, ocean, canvas, nutmeg, and black.

While I was there I picked up six more regular Baggus to use as gift bags this Christmas. I got the idea last year when Baggu produced this awesome how-to video on how to wrap with Baggu. It saves on paper and gives the receiver a beautiful handy bag to carry in their handbag or leave in the car.

From experience I know they have quick shipping ($4 US, $7 in CAN) and great customer service. And when you wear out your bag they will take it back to make sure it gets recycled properly as well as give you a credit for your next purchase.

Now that it is getting colder I can seriously start thinking about knee high boots. While many are saying that it is a must to have at least one pair of above the knee boots I’m not completely sold on them. A/ most of them look weird and B/ they are generally made for thin calves, knees and thighs.

There used to be a time that even knee high boots were a problem for plus size women but more and more shoe stores (online at least) are offering wide calf boots. There’s an online store called Wide Widths, no mistaking what they offer there, that gives the calf circumference for each boot and size so it isn’t hit miss like some places. I found two pairs of knee high wide calf boots there that I quite like.

Back in May I introduced you to Cool-Jams sleepwear. This month they introduced twenty new styles and colors. All available in sizes S to 3x.

My favorite style from the new round up is the Melinda Pyjama probably because I’m freezing at the moment and these looks so cozy. The obvious choice of color would be blue but if you are not a fan of blue this particular pj comes in espresso. It is $55 for both pieces. This style top also comes as a nightshirt for $45. It is not incredibly surprising that Michelle Obama is inspiring the clothing choices of other women in the U.S. and elsewhere to follow her fashion sense. She’s a beautiful woman and she looks good in everything she wears including her accessories. According to NBC her style choices are so popular because, “They’re wearable, yes, but more importantly, they’re exciting.”

Like the purple Toy Watch she wore Paris, France in early June (and numerous times since then) that matched the purple flecks in her scarf. The brightly colored watch is from Toywatch’s Neon Plasteramic’ Collection and is available in a variety of colors including orange and pink. Toy Watch has numerous other variations including gold, black, mother of pearl, and those with tattooed faces.

The watch is surprisingly versatile. I’ve seen Michelle Obama wear it dressed up with pants and a cardigan as well as dressed down with a pair of shorts.

When I first saw these celebrity popularized watches and heard the buzz I thought for sure they would be in the $600 to $800 range but they are available at J.R. Dunn Jewelers and elsewhere for $195.

While the purple Toy Watch totally fits Michelle Obama’s style and personality I think I would probably go for the Teal Mini Plasteramic ($195 as well). Which color would you choose?

If you are starting to think about Christmas gifts (I know, Halloween isn’t even over yet) for yourself or other women in your life then this is probably going to be a must have item. But you probably don’t want to leave it to the last minute. AOL Beauty & Style mentioned that Michelle Obama wore J. Crew to a recent interview on Jay Leno which spurred an surge of shopping at the clothing brand; again, I’m not surprised.

If you are looking for a way to go pink this month the Susan G. Komen online shop has plus size tops (short and long sleeves), bottoms (although they are not pink) that go up to size 2x and pajamas that go up to 3x. They have a section specifically called a Plus Size Shop but I noticed not all the plus size clothing I came across are in it so don’t limited your search.

One of my favorite pieces is the Sherpa Full Zip Hoody (KOMELJ0004) for $48. It looks soft and cosy and warm for cool fall walks amongst the colored foliage.
