Hairs Sticks

Stylish Plus Size Dresses & Separates

Now that my hair is getting long again, one of the things I’m excited about wearing are hair sticks. I have a few from the last time I had long hair but they are kind of boring. I accidentally happened upon one on Etsy while I was there looking for something else. I decided to do a search and was delivered a treasure trove of hair sticks (as well as many other wonderful hair pins) of every style imaginable and a huge range of prices to suit many different budgets. Some are sold individually while others are sold as a pair.

Personally I find using two works better but I finally settled on two singles from QueCraft (the knot below and a lizard) which were extremely affordable. Here are fifteen hair stick designs that I have favorited for the future. Because there are so many different artists I’ve linked to each designer as mentioned instead of linking at the end as I usually do:

QueCraft is at the top of my favorites (so far, quick and friendly customer service). The three sticks you see below are $7.95 each. Their shipping is $3 for the first item and free for each additional item. Excellent savings for items coming from Saigon.

The Raven’s Lair makes the traditional hair sticks and beautiful “hair daggers” formed into the shapes of knifes but much easier on your hair. The ones shown here are priced to $35.50. Her shipping ranges from $4.50 to $8 depending on where in the world you are located.

The Far Grove has traditional hair double hair sticks that have been jazzed up. The ones featured here range in price from $18 to $22. Their shipping begins at $2 up to $6.80 depending on location.

And more favorites: Ebonraven, Forever Sunshine, Timberstone Turnings, Trash & Trinkets, Purple Moon Designs, and Hanssen Studios.

Here’s a quick tutorial by Manivan Larprom on how to use two sticks:

I got on such a hair stick kick I went over to eBay to see what they had and I would have to say the selection is much better at Etsy.

wow hair sticks have gotten very elaborate over the years. I wonder when my dread locs get longer will I need to look into hair sticks or just stick with the head bands I use now?

Glenn you are crazy! LOL. I love hair sticks, I have some very old ones that were my Great Grandmother’s.

I’d like to see that! You could get one of the fancy animal ones.

Got something to say?
