I think this Colonel Pickering pleat skirt easily falls into the realm of unusual. I know it’s wool and it’s getting warm but I love it.

Pleat Wool Skirt from Carolyn de la Drapiere

The pleats are striking especially when highlighted by the white stitching and buttons. The skirt is available in sizes 12 to 26 for £120 from Carolyn de la Drapière.

This isn’t the only unique looking piece in her collection. There are a few more skirts, shirts and dresses.
