I can still remember my first pair of jeans. I was a late bloomer because my mother was raised in a no denim family. As you can imagine that lead to an early childhood of ridicule for wearing polyester pants. My first pair were a simple painter pant with the little loop on the side to hold a brush. I loved them and literally wore them out. Over the years there has been one thing I have learned for certain about fashion and that is women love their denim, no matter what size they are. Thankfully, more and more companies outside of plus size retailers are getting into the “extended sizes” and really it is about time. 
This month’s giveaway is sponsored by Silver Jeans.
Silver Jeans was created in 1991 and since then has built its way up to be a highly recognized and well-respected brand sold throughout the world. They recognized a lack of well-fitting, stylish jeans for those curvy-er few who want to be just as fashion forward as a size 0 so they started their extended line to meet these needs. They take the most popular and well-sold styles of the season and make them into their extended line which ranges from sizes 14-24. The line contains everything from flares to the classic straight legs and bootcuts. The brand retails for $60-100 making this a mid-luxury brand that everyone can enjoy. Apart from the website, the jeans can be found at Dillards, Nordstrom, Buckle, Torrent, and other nationwide retailers.
I haven’t tried their jeans yet, but they are sending me a pair to review. In the mean time one lucky plus size woman size 14 to 24 is going to win a pair.

Stipulations:
Three entries per person are allowed (one per method above)– suspicious entries with the same IP address (you know who you are) will be deleted without notice. The lucky winner will be chosen from the comments at random, using random.org, on May 28, 2010 at 3 pm EST. This giveaway is sponsored by Silver Jeans Online and they will be mailing the gift after the email and mailing address of the winner have been confirmed by myself (so make sure you enter the right email). This giveaway is open to person 18 years and older living in the United States and Canada. Void where prohibited by law. I had no idea Silver made jeans in my size. The Suki bootcut jean is my fave.
