A lot of flack is given for recommendations against color but honestly, I love the look of black and white or even just monochromatic black or white. I’m not saying that plus size women should live in black, hell no, I love color! But I think every woman should incorporate black and white into her month or even her week. Here are a few of my favorite black and white looks for plus size women:
The three pieces above is from MXM’s Jennifer Biffi collection (I so want her red trench!). At the time of this post they were 50% off online. I included two pairs of shoes because I know some of you prefer flats to heels. The Chela’s White Pear Cut Cocktail Ring would look beautiful if you have dark or tanned skin.
The jacket, cami, and skirt above are from Torrid which not surprisingly has many black items to choose from. There’s a long black tube maxi dress that would look awesome with this pinstriped jacket too. The shoes and black flower ring are also from Torrid — I love one stop shopping!

Recently Ive been gaining extra pound because i wasn’t able to maintain my routine in going to the gym. It’s very hard to find an plus sized dress. Glad to have dropped by on this site. Those dresses were amazing. I have always liked the elegance of black and white together. Thanks!
