I have been wanting an envelope clutch for some time but really did not want to spend a fortune on one until I was sure it was a style that would work for me. I generally stick with oversize handbags but I love the look of a flat bag. I knew I wanted it to be electric blue.
I headed over to eBay and it turned out a seller that I had bought light and bright scarves from last summer also had very affordable envelope clutches in five bright colors including the blue I wanted (tan, black, red, green).
The price? $14.99 plus free shipping — how can you possibly beat that. A few weeks later it came. I think it is a pretty cute bag, love the color and that it came with two handle choices. It can also be easily used as a portfolio without handles as the loops on the bag are small and tuck inside. The inside of the bag is dark gray and rough — not rough like sand paper but definitely not as smooth as the outside. There is just one inner pocket which could easily fit a book or magazine, a flat wallet, lipstick, powder and keys. Just the basics, Ma’am!
