One of the things I really appreciate when it gets colder are sweaters, sweaters of all kinds, and even sweater dresses. While there are many ways to wear a plus size sweater dress I prefer them looser then belted with opaque tights and tall boots. How do you like to wear your sweater dresses?

For me the perfect features of the ultimate sweater dress would include: medium weight knit with texture (not necessarily cables), a-line skirt (I just find the extra fabric warmer), below the knee, a loose neck, cowl or pseudo-neckline, and at least 3/4 length sleeves but the longer the better. What features do you like in your sweater dresses?

I have a love-hate relationship with sweater dresses. I think they are sexy and easy to wear, but I’ve yet to find one to really flatters my apple shape and I don’t wear spanx or girdles. (Although I’m thinking it might be time to start.).
