The Light Weight Sweater Dress
Last week I highlighted a chunky sweater dress. Today’s sweater dress is quite the contrast. This striped Light Weight Sweater Dress is from plus size icon Lane Bryant is delicate and figure hugging.
I love the stripes — a hot trend. What makes the stripes on this dress hot is the multi colors and the change in direction on the bodice. The stripe are made even more appealing to the eye with the solid black trim and thicker waist band. This light weight dress is available in sizes 14 to 28 for $79.50.
With the lighter weight sweater often comes the need for body shapers. Lane Bryant has one of the best ones I’ve seen yet, the Spanx Slim Cognito Body Shaper. I love how it attaches to the bra to keep it from sliding down the belly, something we all know would happen at some part of the day (I can feel the nuisance as I type). The Cognito body shaper comes in nude or black and sizes in sizes xl to 3x for $76. I can definitely see this item as a staple for smooth figure hugging fabrics of all kinds.

Jade Babydoll Peignoir
I was cleaning out really old emails I’ve been saving and came across this cute Babydoll Peignoir Set from plus size lingerie experts Hips and Curves. 
It comes two other colors besides the lovely jade shown here (black and red) but I love this jade. It gives the peignoir a fresh look that makes it a wearable piece instead of a “special occasion” piece that the red and black often provoke.
When I went to the website I was surprised to see that it was offered in sizes 1 to 6x. That is an excellent size range to carry. Depending on the size this set costs $47.50 to $53.

Valentine’s at Torrid
Not only is Torrid a little edgier with their clothing, they are edgier with their lingerie. They had many items to choose from, most in the bustier fashion. While the first two are fun the last one is my absolute favorite (go power purple!):

Valentine’s at Big Gals Lingerie
If you want to order some of the best designs from Big Gals Lingerie for a special day then you have be quick because they are custom made and take two to four weeks unless you request a “rush” order. I imagine around this time of year they are quite busy. Big Gals Lingerie has unique designs and really picking only a few of my favorites was quite hard. Their custom selection is available in sizes 1x to 12x and are a bit pricier than many other places at $66 to $69.

Valentine’s a Lane Bryant
A good way to celebrate Valentine’s Day is with a good bra. And if anyone knows how to make a lovely one it’s Lane Bryant (and they all come with matching panties). Their Cacique line of bras is fabulous and of course they’ve come out with a few fun but sexy styles for celebrating V-day. Surprising, none are red:
In true Valentine’s fashion LB is offering up this adorable French Maid ensemble. The bra is $40, ruffle skirt is $29.50, and the satin g-string is $29. I would prefer LB offer this whole set for $50 because $80 certainly goes a long way at other lingerie shops.
The 3-D Rose Plunge Bra and Hipster is $42 for the bra and $18 for the panty (being modeled by the lovely Crystal Renn).
And the best for last, something that is actually wearable under clothing outside the bedroom — the Jacquard Classic Plunge Bra. It has a matching g-string or for fun a little skirt. But I seriously love the bra which is $40.

Valentine’s at Plus Size Plum
Plus Size Plum is one of my favorite places to goggle plus size lingerie. Deborah from Plus Size Plum has been been busy organizing some tantalizing treats for her customers. I had no problem finding some favorite Valentine’s picks:

Sexy Over Sized Tee
As many of you know I’m a huge fan of Theadless. But I’m not always about standard tees with designs on them. Yes, I like oversized tees with nothing on them at all. Like this plus size oversized tee from Hips and Curves.
It comes in duo sizes 1/2 and 3/4 so I’m not sure how much of an oversized tee it could be for the higher end of the scale but H&C has never steered it’s customers wrong in my book and they describe it as fitting a 5/6.
It’s a fairly affordable tee at $19.95 and comes in the grey and the purple shown here. These tees are great for sleeping in as is or with your favorite flannel bottoms. But they are not restricted to the bedroom; layer it over a cami with jeans and a sweater and you are good to go. A great versatile piece for traveling and of course a great gift for someone else!

New Arrivals at Cool-Jams
Back in May I introduced you to Cool-Jams sleepwear. This month they introduced twenty new styles and colors. All available in sizes S to 3x.
My favorite style from the new round up is the Melinda Pyjama probably because I’m freezing at the moment and these looks so cozy. The obvious choice of color would be blue but if you are not a fan of blue this particular pj comes in espresso. It is $55 for both pieces. This style top also comes as a nightshirt for $45.
