Women’s Hotrod Suede Boots

These are a sexxy pair of suede boots. They have a tough cowgirl meets fashionista look about them. Not surprisingly they are by Carlos Santana (ok, I know it’s surprising on some level because who would have thought he would be designing shoes; but not, on another because I keep going on and on about them).

I would stock my closet with all his designs. But I promise this will be my last pair of Carlos anything until the New Year (unless they are really special). The Carlos Women’s Hotrod boots come in camel and brown but I’m totally loving the camel. They are available in sizes 5 - 10 and are on sale for $150.99 (regular $189).

Harness Boots

Yes they are women’s boots! I absolutely love them. These Frye Women’s Harness boots are from Shoes.com and I think they would go great with the Postman Bag from last week. They come in tan, black or brown.

These hand crafted boots are just so pretty. I know, I know, way too many cowboy movies growing up. But I love them and would wear the sin right out of them. They’re made of smooth full grain leather upper, have a 2″ heel, square toe and a pull on harness, what more do you need except your favorite jeans and t-shirt. They come in sizes 5.5 - 11 for $210.

Think Pink - Shoes

Shoes.com come has really gotten into the “pink” spirit. They have already donated $5000 to the Susan G. Komen fund and for the month of October any pink shoe purchase means an additional 10% of the sale goes toward the fund. And there are hundreds to choose from!

Pirate Boots

It’s a little over a month before Halloween but I just can’t help thinking about costumes. And when I saw these boots the first thing that came to mind was pirates. ARR!

Of course these boots from Zappos would be great for any scalawag wanting to go clubbing or to dress up a pair of leggings or skinny jeans.

These Gabriella Rocha Marie boots are medium width, sizes 5 - 10. The cuffs can been worn up like shown, or down. They are shown at right in black leather but are also available in coco. They are sale for $108.

Shoes and Bags from Barney’s

I’m feeling dreamy today; especially after visiting Barneys New York and finding these two items.

First up is the Chloe dark brown Anklestrap Boots (15141.5157). These shiny Italian leather boots were made for kicking… kicking ass that is! And they are on sale for $590 (that’s where the dreaming comes in, more ahead).

Second up is a bag. I wanted to find something matching in the “designer” section but couldn’t find anything I loved. So I found something on the “second floor”. It’s a Pierre Hardy Nappa Saddle Bag (20104.8768) but doesn’t it just scream Indiana Jones satchel? And it’s only $1200.

I use “only” loosely. I hope you realize that. Ahhhh… the lifestyles of the rich and glamorous. I officially declare today Dream Day. Have a good one.

Forget About Stomping

I’m feeling in a shoe mood. How about you? Well, I was but I just couldn’t limit myself to one. So I have two choices for you today. Both from Boot Bay.

The first is a western boot look without the boot. These Durango (reminds me of a truck I used to love) Boots (RD3520) are made to be durable and comfortable. You get the cowboy heel with the height of an actual boot. They are a sleek $62.95.

The second is a cowboy boot meets high fashion. Get a load of that heel. Definitely not your average cowboy bootie. It has a good name too, Charlie Horse (I4533). This brand, known for their design and construction was made in Brazil. Boot Bay is offering these dangerous booties for $214.95.

Cosy Feet

My feet are freezing today. The temperature dropped below 10 and I’m sensing the first snow fall is not far away. Today’s fave item is about keeping the feet cosy. And of course fashionable.

I came across these cute quilted boots from Avenue a plus size retailer of sizes 14 - 32. They also have a selection of shoes called Cloudwalkers which include regular and wider width shoes and boots. These North Point Boots (4918280A) are wide and come in sizes 8-10,11,12,13 (because we know plus size people don’t have small feet - that’s sarcasm in case it was lost through the text).

I have another pair of boots with soles like these. They are comfy and make me feel tall without the feeling of being unbalanced. They are available in white or black for $49.

Pink - The Shoes

When it comes to pink shoes or footwear my memory instantly goes to Pamela Anderson and the pink Uggs she use to wear on the set of Baywatch between takes. I’ve never had a pair of Uggs but I would probably live in them if I did. You already know what color I’d pick.

I tried searching UGG Australia for some authentic pink UGGs but had no luck. I tried Zappos, nope. On and on. Suddenly they are hard to find. Then I decided to look for knock-offs. Eureka! Good ole Marty’s has these Minnetonka Moccasin brand Shearling Pug Boots that look strangely similar to an UGG and they are only $69.95 which is a bargain compared to the hefty $160 I’ve seen.

These boots come from Minnetonka, Minnesota, not Australia. Minnesota should know about keeping feet warm. These Pugs are made with a sheepskin leather and natural wool lining to keep your feet warm and whisk moisture away. They can be worn as outerwear or as slippers. I’m thinking slippers!
